Conference Accreditation

The Western Angiographic & Interventional Society (WAIS) is an independent professional Society that has organized its annual conference since 1970. The WAIS forum offers quality continuing medical education in one of the most innovative fields of medicine. Each year, presentations cover a wide range of topics involving minimally Invasive, Image-guided procedures including, case presentations, clinical data, tips and tricks techniques, best practices and more. Session topics and speakers are selected by our planning committee (Scientific Program Director, Officers, Executive Director and Session Moderators) and organized to address practice gaps and topics of interest that were identified from attendee post conference feedback collected from previous years.

WAIS 2023 Conference

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of CME Consultants and the Western Angiographic & Interventional Society. CME Consultants is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The presentational methods for this activity will be Case Presentation with Learner Participation, Panel Discussion, Lecture, Debate (Pro/Con), Audience Response System, Q&A. This activity is geared to meet the educational requirements of Physicians and Physician Extenders working in the field of Interventional Radiology. This activity will encompass the following desirable physician attributes: Patient Care & Procedural Skills, Medical Knowledge, and Professionalism, Practice-Based Learning, and Systems-Based Practice.
